2007年、集中して読んだFriedmanらの著書。Additive modelからLogitBoostに至っては、一章分割いて、簡潔にまとまっている。まだこの章の周辺を拾い読みした状態だが、あちこちに気になるトピックが目に留まっており、いつか読みたい。理論をきちんと解説しながらもわかりやすい。この調子でKernel法が説明されていれば、きっと完全に消化できるのではないかと期待している。
